ABOUT US
Island Shredding opened for business in January of 2008. Rod and Sue Turnbull are the owner/operators of the business. Rod and Sue both grew up on San Juan Island then moved away for 16 years to both teach math. Upon returning to Friday Harbor, Rod continued teaching and Sue worked in bookkeeping.
Although Island Shredding is physically located in Surina Business Park, unit #512, we drive to our customer's location and pick up the material to be shredded. The documents are kept in a locked cargo container until shredded. Rod and Sue are the only persons to come in contact with the material entrusted to them and understand the confidential matter of this material.
We are proud to offer flexible pick-up schedules and more reasonable rates than mainland competitors.
